Jade Mountain Carving - Sages & River Scene

This stunning mountain carving is made from solid piece of Canadian Jade.  The very detailed carving depicts a peaceful scene of sages visiting one another along the edge of a river, between their huts on stilts, lush trees, and mountain tops.  Carvings of lotus flower and pods continue onto the wooden base below.

The piece, including the base, stands 30 cm tall, 50 cm wide, and 9 cm deep.
