Jade Double Dragon Carving

Alarge intricate carving of two dragons playing with a large pearl.  Carved from a single piece of unbroken Jade.  The carving sits in an unattached wood base. Including the base, this carving stands approximately 14" tall, 23" long, and 10" deep.

In Chinese mythology, the dragon represents the most powerful being in the universe.  They are even able to grow their size to match that of the universe.  The dragons in this carving play with a pearl, representing a celestial object, as even the sun and moon are their playthings.
